Place the 5-inch retrieval ring around an anchor line up to 1/2 inch, connect the buoy assembly and deploy. Motor forward at a controlled angle while keeping the line clear of the propeller. As the rode passes through the ring, buoyancy helps raise the anchor toward the surface. Shift into neutral before gathering the slack line and anchor. Performance depends on the complete anchoring setup and water conditions.
